• Commune Investment Plan (CIP) course was conducted on 25th May 2018 and facilitated by resource persons from Borseth District office, Kampong Speu Province. The course funded by PNKS. There were 29 participants including Commune councilors, Village Development Associations and people disabilities. The purpose of CIP course to get people to understand what the CIP is, the purpose, and the process of CIP, as well as how important is involvement of community in CIP process.

  • On 1st June 2018, one of PNKS boundary partners, SSC, prepared and conducted International Child Right Day at Ang Say primary school in Borseth District, Kampong Speu Province under supported by PNKS. 208 participants joint this event. The celebration is to disseminate child rights to children and adults that they all work together to claim and protect the rights of children in their community. A group of children performed a drama “Abuse of Child Right to Education”. All participants were impressedabout the event.

  • On 11th – 15th 2018, 17 PNKS Staff and 8 member of boundary partners attended the outcome mapping refresher course in Svay Rieng province. The refresher course is to strengthen our staff capacity to deeply understand PNKS approaches of outcome mapping and how to harvest the outcomes in the community. Besides strengtheningour staff, we have included our boundary partners; CDA, VDA, SSC, CC, and VL members, in this course. PNKS determined to involve our boundary partners as much as possible in our planning design and training. Our boundary partners will understand how PNKS is working in outcome-oriented design and empowering. Through allowing boundary partners to participate in PNKS activities, we believe they gain good relationship, confidence, independence, and reliabilities.
